Anyone heard how the SLP PowerFlo,Loudmouth II, Loudmouth sound on the V6? How do they compare to Borla's V6 offering? I think Loudmouth is probably too loud -- I'm looking for the best power/sound balance, for an '02 RS.

It's too bad there isn't somewhere you can easily compare exhaust system sounds -- online audio leaves something to be desired...

 

Haha I'm surprised no one has jumped on this yet, as soon as someone posts an exhaust sound question.. the answer is "Youtube is your friend".

They usually have all the sounds ya need on there.

 

Yea, but I am really looking for first-hand experiences with these on a V6, not just audio clips... It is always different in person.

 

Yeah, youtube sucks. What you see on youtube isn't what it sounds like really. Gives you an idea, yeah, but nothing sounds right on it.

 

Borla will give you the best of both worlds. Best sound and best performance. BUt a custom set up will always be best because you can get the sound YOU want.

And fyi... Your car will NEVER sound liek a V8

 

Right, that seems to be the consistent message -- I take it you have heard the Borla on a 3.8?

It seems nobody has heard the three SLP offerings on the 3.8?

 

Would I loose any torque from adding a Borla catback on the 3.8?
