Default SLP performance exhaust?

i found out that from the factory my car has "SLP performance exhaust." anyone know what that means? i plan on upgrading my exhaust one of these days but don't want to change certain things if i don't have to. i will say that i have dual outlets on the drivers side of the car. is that all it is?

If the car has SLP Exhaust , I would not replace it because 1)can not be be matched by other systems. 2) it is all stainless steel and will last a lifetime. What are you going to upgrade to?? somne loud as-d junk.

What are you looking to know about the Y pipe? The whole exhaust system on a Camaro is stainless even if it doesn't have the SLP package. To my knowledge the SLP performance exhaust was only the cat back portion, and the Y pipe was the same for everything. You should be able to tell when you look at the Y pipe, if it's competely smooth, you probably have a mandrel bent one and it's not the one that came on the Z28's, if it's really crinkley and crappy looking, that's the same as everyone else.
