I originally wanteda volant kit, but i already have the ss lid. I cant stand the very small space for air flow though. Once i remove it I may understand the process easier but i am confused.

1.If i delete the bottom piece, I need the k and n filter because the stock filter is not too good against water and debris?

2. Ive had intake systems before, will i notice the throttle reponse and sound i noticed on my other k an n full setups?

3. Hp, torque gains?

4. Where is a good site to get a smooth bellow? does it really make a difference?

5. If that bottom piece is delted...why wouldnt the filter jsut fallout?

6. what would the roundabout price be for all this?
