Default slp cold air intake

i have a 1995 z28 camaro Lt1 motor 5.7 liter 350. I want to make it faster what should I do? I was thinking slp cold air intake and bbk throttle body. Does any one know a good place to get parts and any suggestion on what other performance idea I can do?

Don't mess with the throttle body. Yours is fine... Go with a cold air intake and a catback exhaust. That is the best place to start on any vehicle.

I would recommend K&N or Moroso. The SLP is going to be more expensive and not get you any more benefit. I also agree with Kal, an upgraded TB isn't going to get you any HP on an otherwise stock motor. On your LT1 you need to be pushing at least 350+ before you'll start to get any real benefit from a bigger TB.

Chips are a waste for these cars too... Save up for a tune instead.

Start like I said... Intake then exhaust. Then you can work on gears and headers if you still want more... Don't waste money on things that don't help.

SLP more expensive? The SLP is around $120, and I have seen the K&N intakes as high as $330. The SLP is a fine intake, I have one in mine with their blackwing air filter.

The SLP intake retails for $279.95, the K&N retails for $242.95 and you can get the Moroso for $198.95 from Summit. Obviously if you're looking on ebay for used equipment prices can vary, but the SLP has the highest retail price.

You mean this SLP intake retails for $270? http://www.lmperformance.com/741/13.html

That is the one I have, $120 for it, works well.
