I bought my headers from www.speed-eng.com who sponsor this site. They run specials on Kooks items every now and then, so check in with them to see if they have any deals for Camaroforums members. Other than that, you never never want to base your headers on "sound." The difference between a cheap header and an expensive one isn't flow, because they all flow about the same(I use about because more expensive would flow a bit better if they have better bends etc.), but a more expensive header is that way because it fits well. That's one the the issues I've heard as well with the Pacesetter headers, they just don't fit right, and I can assure you, after being under the car gettting the old system out, you won't want to have to deal with a header that you have to mangle just to get it to fit. Other than that, a more expensive header is probably more equal length than the Pacesetters, so it will get you better mid-range torque because it is more tuned.

yeah... well i will take the advise from someone who has the header ya know. if yoru saying the ones you got are better then pacesetter or some thing like that then thats fine... but ill be putting the headers on while the engine is out... if long tube kooks or comps are better then pacesetter. then ill check it out.. im on a budget tho... and ive got to come up with the money for the block work x.x

haha, the quality of Kooks is better than Hooker Super Comps, and I can guarantee those are both above the quality of Pacesetters. I realize that we are all on a budget, but the way I look at it is, do it right the first time, that way you don't have to look at it again in the future and end up spending more money overall.

ha, I don't think Kooks and cheap go together, but as I already said, www.speed-eng.com, contact them and see when they're running a sale on Kooks products.

According to their site they don't make anything for the Camaro, if you're looking for a good catback a lot of people seem to like the Magnaflow system.
