electric cutouts = 500 bucks, I want some

You could cut the price down by going with 2 1/2" pipe. you seriously dont need more than that especially if you are going with duals. someone correct me if I am wrong but wont dual 3" cut way down on the back pressure and kill the low end torque?

backpressure is bad.... but yeah, it does cut back on low end torque.

I didnt notice you said it was for your blazer. Screw it, go with the 3". you arent looking for a good launch off of the line in that anyway. if you find cutouts for less than 500 bones let me know though

Back pressure = Stupid concept

It's nothing about pressure... It's all about the velocity of your exhaust. The quicker it comes out, the more low end torque you will have. Meaning you'll have to bottle it up in a smaller exhaust (Which is where the "back pressure" myth comes in).

Anyways I'm just throwing out ideas for you to try. Getting a good sound when you drive, then interrupt the thoughts of Satan when you're feeling frisky.

And I'd go with 2.5 inch unless you're making some SERIOUS power. You'll lose a lot of low end power with true duals and 3" pipe

are you going to use this for mudding or rockclimbing, anything like that. If so, you're going to want that low end tq. What about magnaflow, haven't priced them, but they sound good to me.

Well, I may go out in the desert every once in a while, but mostly it will be used for huting. So yeah, low end is a MUST. it's a 4x4, of course I need low end. I'll check out some magnaflows and see.

Stick with 2.5 inch pipe then to keep your low end torque somewhat ambient

yeah good idea... I may just get some cheap glasspacks or something and normally run the cut-outs, expect when I'm hunting... or, maybe I'll get really good mufflers and JUST run the mufflers...
It wouldn't electric cut-outs, it would be manual though... I can't afford electric ones
