Default LT1 Z28 Exhaust/ o2 sensor

Are there any side exhaust kits for the LT1 Z28 camaros (1995)? If not, does anyone know whether an 95 Z28 with an LT1, which has OBDI on it, will run better with or without cats? High-flows?

The car came with high flow cats,, so unless you have a clogged cat, you won't notice much of a difference by removing it. But, you will have a tough time if you need smog inspection.

I'm pretty sure that '96 was the first Year for dual Cats. If yours is a single, have it upgraded with a dual cat system. It does make a difference.

Why would you want to ADD a catalytic converter to the car? If you don't have to pass emissions, get yourself some long tube headers and by-pass all the emission crap.

I dont have emissions tests where i live. I just heard that the LT1 with OBDI will run bad because the O2 will mess things up when there is not cat.

OBDI doesn't have O2 sensors after the cat, so it won't be an issue.

If it has O2 sensors it will be designed to run with O2 sensors. If it has O2 sensors after the cat you'll probably need to keep the cats. The O2 sensors after the cats will tell the engine that it's not running probably and your car's engine will go into limp mode and run like ****. If it only has O2 sensors before the cats then rip em out by all means. You could still rip them out and have O2 sensor simulators. I know they exist and make the engine think that there's cats there but i don't know anything more about them.
