Loud exhaust

not really on my 79 camaro. now time will tell if they do were out a ton but its all in what u like. newer engines or V6s or anything yeah its kinda fart can but a old V8 i never hear anything rice from it. im running 2.25" diameter glass packs on my 305 with long tubes and gona dump them out before axles this week right now there under the floor bord off headers

My vote (because I did it to my 80) would be equal length long-tube headers with 2.5" pipes. X pipes offer a more 'tuned' sound and provide better performance than H pipes. You can lose the cats, there are no sensors. Mufflers are personal preference. On this website you will get a million opinions. If you really hate your neighbor, SLP Loudmouths will wake your neighbor's dead relatives.

Thanks to you all, I think I'm going to long tubes, 3" exhaust, X pipe with the Borla cat back. From what I've been able to look up and the comments you've made, seems to be something I'd like

I would go with duals..They are better in my opinion. always go with longtube headers and i prefer glasspacks for mufflers..my setup is 1 7/8'' LT's, 3'' piping with x-pipe, and moroso spiral flows dumped before the axle...its quiet (somewhat) when it needs to be and screams at WOT

i notice that. you come to a red light and its like were did my car go? did it stall out? then you step into it and your like holy cow were did this car come from? lol
but from outside in gear its freaking loud regardless. it just seems quieter inside ha.

chasern1...unless you got a big *** engine you dont want 3"...Long tube headers and an x pipe is good...and for performance and sound i would suggest powerstick mufflers...they are chambered mufflers...pretty cheap...they sound awesome really loud and are known for adding lots of power
