Thanks guys. My uncles Hemi Ram sounded good with the exhaust. Then h put on the CAI and it sounded that much better so i was just wondering if i would have the same affect by adding one to the IROC.

You don't have to be such a pretentious *****, and that is a berger panel paint scheme on the back, How is it not? All Im saying is you claim to know so much about cars yet you are going to sit here and argue that a cold air intake doesn't do anything? that's ridiculous.

Default Hey question

Not to mention the increased throttle response. nothing like hearing an engine suck in cold air, You will probably have to design your own intake but that is half of the fun if you have any sort of Cowl induction hood, you could just put a cone filter on the end of the inake like the Ramjet Crate Engines by GMPP

Iroc-Z Air Filters

i have yet to find any improvement over the stock intake setup for the tpi z28. the factory setup is not that restrictive, and once the screens are removed from the maf, there isnt much restriction. and what more cold air do you want than the air being rammed in from in front of the radiator? just pull out the air filters and remove the flaps from under it. i ran the best times with my car with the factory setup- 15.204@92.24. using a cai similar to those on ebay, it dropped to 15.308@88.34, and just an open element on the throttle body dropped it further to 15.488@86.92. all of these were tested in one day with no other changes. take it how you like.
