I'm lost
Ok, there are no Magnaflow dealers anywhere near me. So I was thinking i could buy online and get it installed somewhere around here. So I start looking and I don't even know what to buy!! I have a 89 RS and the only things i see are for the newer Camaros. Am I looking in the wrong place?? I hate knowing so little lol. Also, do these exhaust systems come with cats? I don't have one and honestly don;t care if I have one or not, just curious. Thanks and please don't laugh at me lol.

Not 100% sure, but dont the 80 series Flowmasters, or the Magnaflow muffler just like it fit the late 80's and 90's Camaros? I know it has the single inlet, double outlet and is mounted sideways so it looks like duals, I know the newer Camaros, i.e. LT1's and LS1's, use a sideways mounted muffler, and I believe the Irocs use the same kind.

Ive heard that in most cases, you dont need to replace everything on the exhaust system...instead, just get a new cat and new muffler and you'll be in business. Basic Camaros and RS' can do this and leave the 2.25 inch stock piping as is unless you plan on beefing the power of your motor up. 2.25 is pleanty of breathing for up to 250 HP, then you should prolly bump it up a lil. This way you can save a few $$ if you're not the hardcore motorhead.
