Im having a problem opening the door to my 1999 Camaro. When I open the driver door the front of it hits the front fender making a popping noise. It only seems to happen when its cold out. (below 50 degrees) There is no damage to the door nor has it ever been in an accident. Could this be a simple fix or something much greater?

prolly bad door pins i would imagine mine does it too and ive stared at it for 2 hours or so and figured cold=shrunk pins=play in door lol ergo new pins should fix problem and if not a good molotov will do the trick imma bout to do it to mine

2 common causes for this. 1st has the car been lifted with the fender pinchweld? This is not a lift point and will cause damage to the fender causing it to hit the door. THe other place is the center fender bolt can come out or the bracket has been bent for any odd reason. Simple solution to this is to remove the fender liner, and reinstall the bolt, tighten it or simplly bend the bracket slightly forward. This can also sometimes be done with out going to the inner fender but you risk cracking the fender.
