^Plan on drilling and tapping a couple of bolts out of your block. You'll probably break a couple of them trying to get them loose.

 

It's not that bad! The only reason that you would break a bolt is if you try to break it loose with the wrench or socket at an angle. Make sure your pull or push to break it loose it straight. Otherwise you should be fine.

Chaotic you must have either been doing it wrong or someone really stressed the hell out of those bolts before you go to them.

the shop i took it to said it would be 8 hours of labor to install bbk longtube headers and y pipe. they said they had to block off the egr valve too.does this sound right??

 

the shop just called and said tht this will throw my check engine light on too. how the hell do i fix this?please help

 

Yes that is all correct! And you will have to get your O2 sensors tuned out like we said.
