How would running just Cats with straight pipes sound?
I am trying to imagine what it might sound like compared to running cats with a flowmaster or something.
also do you think you would have to worry about things cooling down too fast and hurting the valves etc ? Or do you think it would hurt performance...would it be insanely loud , or at least sound somewhat agressive, but not obnoxious?
any input would be great !

Well depending on what kinda car it is lol, if its a camaro pushing 600 hp , well it would sound nothing short of deafening lol, if its a 1964 plymouth duster, well i think it will sound like **** lol.

I, for one, have a 95 3.4l V6 and I have only a Magnaflow highflow cat. I just took off the stock muffler and ran some exhaust tubing to the rear of the car. Its really really loud. Sounds very good from idle to 4k RPMs and then its the worst sound I've heard outta a car after that. But I dont race so I never have the car in that range of RPMs anyway. I've been trying to get some video of it for a while but have failed over and over.
Hope that helps. : /
