Default Headers legal in California??

Ive done a few google searches and cant find a solid answer. Can you put headers on your car (Z28) and if so what ones would be good for a 1993 Z28 LT1?

You cannot run long tubes, but you can use shorty headers. Just make sure the header specifies that it's 50-state legal (Edelbrock is one brand I know makes them) and you should be good to go. You're going to want to get a mandrel bent Y-pipe along with the headers to make them effective though.

All aftermarket auto parts used in California must have a CARB cert( California-Air- Resourses-Board approval). This certifications is also used as 50 State legal definition in other States. So any part you use Must have the CARB stamp on it or the packaging..
