Way to not answer his question Ovulator...

Anyway, if you still have emissions to worry about it realky cuts down on your choices (trust me, I was in the same boat you're in). You can either get super cheap like Pacesetter or you can get good but expensive such as Kooks. All the other companies seem to only make emissions legal shorties or off road equipment. I would suggest saving up and going with the Kooks, they're the best quality header I've ever seen and they fit much better than the Pacesetter headers. You could also consider going for a Dynatech header.

GTFO SLVR! hes ls1 and hes MINE! go with pacesetters, its what I run on my car. the lt1's have fitment issues apparently so they need to dent tubes and do crap like that. ive heard of people needing to notch their kmember with pacesetters, but mine slipped right in. i cant immagine you would have any trouble, and you can get the headers and a ypipe for 500 bucks, thats enough to buy about 1 of the kooks headers

as for the chip....... u cant have a chip. our PCM's done have removable chips like some older cars did. in fact, im not even sure they make modules for our cars.... do u have a handheld programmer? or is it like a jet module or something? i agree with h8ter if its an actual interrupter inline with the PCM. those are no good

yes, they will. they are also technically better than pacesetters. if you want the best go with hooker or kooks. its just my opinion that for the most part you are paying for fit, and the cheapest ones fit pretty well, so y not?

If you're going for Hooker, or good Hookers, you're going to be putting down around $800, why not get Kooks, which are going to be better than the Hookers, for an extra $100?

I like to get under the car once and do it right the first time, thus the reason I have Kooks.

i thought a set of long tube hookers were like 400, and i mentioned hooker because i could get dealer prices on them.
