glass packs

Default glass packs

would it be possible to take off the y pipe from my exhaust manifolds and putting 2 pipes to 2 cats and 2 glass packs. not necessarily all the way to the back of the car. i have a 1985 camaro 5.0 4bbl 305

nvm, my exhaust system on my camaro now sounds beast as all hell. dont wanna make it sound bad with glass packs. ill put a sound clip up soon. maybe tomorrow. i dunno what kinda muffler is on my car right now. but it sounds great, any way to identify an aftermarket muffler. aside from taking it down lol.

You could probaly getaway without a cat and just run glass packs

its highly illegal to take the cat off of your car in va if your using the vehicle for street use. wont pass inspection at all.

not a fan of glasspacks, chambered mufflers sound better

You could drop the exhaust b4 the rear axle

if i ever get pulled for somethin and they take a look under the car and see no cat, them id be screwed. theres a hefty fine for that. epa would ream me.
