Default Full exhaust for my 94 Z

Ok so im lookin into LT headers (right now ive got my eyes set on Pacesetters, but ive heard mixed things) Also i need a cat so im looking at a magnaflow highflow cat and im gonna have a Y pipe fabbed to fit. As far as cat backs im looking at magnaflow with the stainless rounded tips (because im tired of the nasty rectangular tips) and ive heard good things about magnaflow.

Now ive picked these out kuz ive got a tighter budget but i was wondering if there was a good estimate on what kind of gains i would see with this setup? LTs, customY,Highflow Cat, Magnaflow catback.

id say between 25-35 rwhp. its enough to feel some difference.. i can tell you as far as magnaflow goes it sounds good but a little quiet for my taste.. so my sis bought me a cutout for xmas. they do sound sweet with headers but people complain of it being too tame until WOT

what kind of exhaust would sound... untame? lol I want something thats a bit beefier and a tad louder than my stock exhaust buthas no catand 3 in piping. Like today for example i had my window down and i gave her a good launch and it sounded pretty good.. i just kinda want to clean up my exhuast, get rid of the blacked crooked rectangular tailpipes and fix my exhaust leak while gaining horses and maybe a beefier more defining sound.

get LTs youll gain 15ish off them high flow cat will buy you 5ish horse not much sound and a 3 in magnaflow will give you deeper sound but the 2.5" in my opinion is more preformace but either way youll get 12-15 horse from the cat back

Spartan, get the Dynatech headers and catted Y pipe and then whatever cat-back suits your needs. You'll be happier with those than Pacesetter, save up some money for a little longer to get the better product, it'll make more power and torque.

you should be able to get the dynatechs at advance auto - they may tell you they dont carry them at first but if you have them look in one of the catalogs they'll be there you just gotta make sure you talk to the right person because some people tend to be lazy

I would do bbk shortie headers package. They come with the Y pipe and they are relatively cheap, a little more than pacesetter. Since you have to pass emissions, I would then do a magnaflow high flow cat. But for catback, magnaflow is just ok in my opinion. I would shop around first, as prices go, they are a little higher. Go to different sites and listen to their exhausts. I personally like flowmaster american thunder cat back. Great sound and wont break the bank. You can get a nice one for about $280. You can get it all from summit.
