my 87 has headers no cat and a flowmaster american thunder cat back..i love the sound and so does everyone ive talked too...makes the 5.0 sound way beefyer than it is.. people will definatley know your coming wiht the flowmaster.

 

i have a borla catback and it makes my 3800 sound very muscley.

 

magnaflow has more bang for your buck

 

as far as sound its all personal preference. As far as exhaust flow goes flowmaster isn't the best but definately most affordable. i like the borla but i couldn't see myself spending 1/3 of what the car is worth on a set ofpipes
