I have a 95 Camaro with the 3.4 liter engine. I have been wanting to change the exhaust to something with a little more sound and power. After calling several local muffler shops, one guy reccomended the glasspack because it is a V6. However the other reccomended a Flowmaster muffler. I don't know which one to choose, I would like a muffler that simply sounded good, without sounding like a weed-eater. I would like it to have a deep, mellow sound. I dont know whose reccomendation to go on, both shops have done good work for us in the past.

id go for the flowmaster. my friend has a glass packed and sounds to much like a ricer. Flowmaster of magnaflow is the way to go

I have a 40 series flowmaster on my 3.4, but as previous threads state, it will sound deep and have a slight 'rumble' at idle, but after about 3500RPMs, it gets loud and rattles, sounds good up to that point, never heard a magnaflow on a 3.4, but I assume it rattles past 3500RPMs too.

 

I have flowmaster american thunder on my 3.4 and it doesnt sound like v8, nothing will, but it sure as hell sounds close enough to where people argue with me about it.
