Default Exhaust 01 LS1

With a ~$300ish budget whats the best out there? SLP Loudmouth?

I cant decide....HELP ME!!

Do you want to be really loud? If you have the LM1 and then later get headers it will be all rasp, so I heard. It is a fun glass pack though, I would get it as a first mod.

im sure performance wise with a cat back most of the exhausts out there are pretty similar, and the cat and headers are still on providing restriction. It all depends on the sound. For the mean time all i did on mine was remove the rear muffler and put in 2 pipes and some cherry bomb style short cans on the end, i have a really poor quality video but you can kinda here it, and its much louder in person than it appears

you should just be able to see the rear mufflers in my sig, or have a look in my photo album

The thing is at a later stage do you want to get headers and a de-cat??

you want a bullet muffler or a baffled muffler? more so you want loud and restriction free or quiter and more restrictive?

After 2 weeks & no replies I opted for the 3" SLP Y pipe for up front and a 3" Pypes Race-Pro muffler sytem
with the with the 3" polished tips:
