Both are good systems. The only diffrence is the muffler its self. The loudmouth 1 is the more aggressive of the two and is loud. The loudmouth 2 is a little more mild and i personally think offers the best of both worlds for sound on the street.

i have a friend with an 04 blown mustang cobra which has a loudmouth 2 and i have a friend with an 02 SS 35th ann with loudmouth 1. the loudmouth one definately sounds better but i do realize that the SS has a bigger motor and the cobra is blown. they put out different amounts of air flow and are going to sound different regaurdless. but in my opinion the loudmouth one sounded better.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the location of the resonator changed as well. Check out www.LS1sounds.com and decide which one you like better.
