Default Custom hood

Whats up guys. I just bought a custom ram-air hood for my 01 v6 and i was wondering if I could make it fully functional and if so how? The air is guided right over top of the engine. I dont really know much about cars so it would be great if you guys could help me out.Name: 100_8023.jpg

If you want to make it functional you're going to have to get something to route the air intake on top of your motor. To be completely honest with you, Ram-Air isn't even functionally "ramming" until you get up to speeds around 80+ MPH. You can make just as much HP with a good cold-air intake, and it's going to be cheaper.

Thanks bro.
Also the person who is working on my car suggested finding some way to seal up the vents when it rains that way water doesnt get on the engine, is this true?
