Default converting to dual exhaust

my 94 Z28 has the 2 headers conecting into one pipe with the cat on it, then splitting out to 2 again. i wanted to get some long tube headers, no cats, just straight back to 2 mufflers, with ah H-pipe to balance them out. around how much do u think this would cost? and would it even be worth it?

Default RE: converting to dual exhaust

*sigh* what's up with you people and not searching, I answer this question once a week...[>:]

I'll be short with this one, on a 4th gen true dual exhaust is an expensive custom venture that has clearance issues, that's why it's not true dual from the factory. With a good header/Y pipe and cat back setup you're good for over 500 HP, so unless you're making some beastly numbers it's really not something that you need to be too concerned about. You can buy the Bassani kit, but it's very expensive and not worth it in my opinion.
