In that pictures of the borla exhaust it seems that the right outlet is just a useless bolton piece of metal only for aesthetic purposes. Is that so? Seems kind of lame if it is. From such an expensive catback I'd expect to have real dual outlets, lik in magnaflow or flowmaster.

It is dual outlet... One before the muffler, one afterwards. The passenger side one has a little plate you can put in there to "tune" the sound.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Wouldn't that make the exhaust pressure and sound different in the two outlets? or it doesn't matter?

Looking at the picture there are four plates, three that each have a different sized orifice, and one that completely blocks the exhaust path on the passenger side. Pressures wouldn't betoo different, sounds will be a bit more noticeable.
