Default 3.8 Muffler

Does anyone have any of the mufflers from a local parts store on there 3.8L V6 camaro?

I just got my 2000 today and am wanting to get the muffler done on it. Imma probally go with magnaflow. I want a nice deep tone, not expecting anything like a V8, bit nothign ricey eaither. I did search, but I couldnt find any post to see if anyone has used mufflers from local autozone or advance?

i got a flowmaster 80 series dual outlet...sounds really nice at idle and low rpms...but unless you have header and a full exhaust, your always gonna have rasp from the v6

i think flowmaster is the biggest bang for the buck...i recommend it

actually, i'd recommened getting the entire flowmaster catback. It's like $250 but it comes with the 80series muffler. I got the muffler last summer, and now I'm gettin a catback system, so you might as well just save time and maybe some money and get the whole system

I got magnaflow (look at the picture under my username) with $100 stainless steel tips. I love the sound of my car, many people I meet up with said it's the deepest sounding v6 camaro they've heard.

I wouldnt mind a sound clip either, if possible. I've heard a lot of Magnaflow clips and a lot of them all sound different..

I agree with 02Blackonblack, i got dual magnaflow with tips, most people say it sounds almostlike a V8.
