z28 misfire and fuel pump shutdown

z28 misfire and fuel pump shutdown

the fuse keeps blowing out for the fuel pump and ses light keeps flashing
i had a friend put a computer on it and it said p0300 code
what should i do next

The random misfire code could be because of your fuel delivery problem. You pump may be bad and drawing a lot of amps causing the fuse to blow.

it was a 94 6 cylinder and i put in a 97 lt1 rewired the whole car and this is the only problem i am having

Then I hope you checked and rechecked your wireing
I am swapping a 97 4.3 in my moms 84 S10 and usualy when I have a problem it is in the hooking up the 97 harness to the 84 components
