Default Wheel Recommendations

I recently purchased a 68' Camaro which has had a frame-up restoration. My wife says the the car needs a slight lift in the back with a slightly larger tire. I am considering P275/60R15 Cooper Cobra's on the rear mounted on a Classic Industries 15x8 inch Rally Sport wheel. The front will have P215/60R15 on the front mounted on a Classic RS 15x7 wheel. I would like the rear tires to set as far in the wheelwell as possible with out excessive rear end lift. Does anyone have any suggestions or had experience with this tire/wheel combination? Also, if I order the RS wheels from Classic, what offset should I purchase so the tires set as deep into the wheel well as possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Wheel Recommendations

I have 275/60/15 on My '69 on 8" factory rally rims and they're totally under the car. Don't even come close to sticking out. I'd consider a little taller tire on the front. The 235/60/15 would be a better fit.
