wheel bearing

any one ever replaced the wheel bearings in the rear end? The rear end is making a grinding noise and i can't isolate it, however, the noise does seem to silence a little when i apply the handbrake, its been making this noise since the car got a little wet from katrina, i already replaced the rear end fluid and replaced the rear brake drums and shoes, the noise still persists, if anyone knows what may be the culprit please enlighten me.. thanks

i didn't quite mean to use the word grinding, its more of a 'friction' type nosie

so nobody knows how to replace one?? a quick run down with the tools needed will suffice

You have to giva a little more time than eleven minutes for an answer. So I will stretch this out some.
To start, Depends on what rear end you have.

You need to remove the axles and take them to a shop to get new bearings pressed on.

What rear end is it? If it's a c clip axle there is no press work required, but, you need an axle bearing remover tool and a slide hammer. The new one insalls with a seal driver and hammer.
