Default wheel bearing

any one ever replaced the wheel bearings in the rear end? The rear end is making a grinding noise and i can't isolate it, however, the noise does seem to silence a little when i apply the handbrake, its been making this noise since the car got a little wet from katrina, i already replaced the rear end fluid and replaced the rear brake drums and shoes, the noise still persists, if anyone knows what may be the culprit please enlighten me.. thanks

You have to giva a little more time than eleven minutes for an answer. So I will stretch this out some.
To start, Depends on what rear end you have.

You need to remove the axles and take them to a shop to get new bearings pressed on.

What rear end is it? If it's a c clip axle there is no press work required, but, you need an axle bearing remover tool and a slide hammer. The new one insalls with a seal driver and hammer.
