The casting number is very common, it could be a 2 or 4 bolt main 350, a 2 bolt 327, or a 4 bolt main 302 if it is from the camaro. Really the only surefire way is to tear the motor apart, see if it is a 2 or 4 bolt main, and then measure the bore and stroke.

i wander were it was made at? b/c its has 40 GM before the casting number.
if it had just M and not GM it would be mexico. that site also said if it had a clock which it does-

On some "Saginaw" blocks, intakes and exhausts a "clock" was cast into the block. The clock is a circle of 10 dots, one dot for each hour of a shift (usually 10 hour shifts). An arrow points to the beginning of the shift an another dot outside the circle indicates what time of day the cast part was made. Anyways, that's what that circle thing is (if you happen to see it on something).
so i am kinda confused
thanks for the help
hit me back if you come across anything else.
thanks dude
