Default What manuals do you own?

Doing on line research is a pain when you have to run in and out with greasey hand to look something up on the web. While it is a great tool, its just part of a complete collection of reference material.

So.......

What hard copy manuals do you have?

Currently I only have the Haynes 70-81 Camaro (24015).

I am waiting delivery on the the Haynes Suspension and Drivetrain manual (10345).

Are there other books I should have in my library? What do you have?

Do you know if they make those books for the 1979? Ever see a manual like this?

An assembly manual like that is good reference if you're taking apart a car and putting it back together again. It shows where everything goes. I have a couple from previous cars. I also have some model specific Haynes repair manuals, as well as the general Chiltons and Motors books. I also have the two volume GM service manual for my 92 Vette. Another good book to have is the Chevrolet Service Manual, which I have for the 69.
Like this for your car: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979-...item336067c1db

Factory service manual for every car I ever owned. The prize goes to the manual for a 1972 Porsche, six 4" loose leaf binders, enough info and specs to build the car from scratch.

Those three manuals I got really help out !!

I was in Autozone the other day and they sell this pc based manual that you pay like $25 for a years worth of access. The price is what turned me off, but does anyone have that and can you explain it a little?

I have a 72 Fisher body service manual,

72 chevrolet passenger car service manual

and the 72 Camaro Factory assembly manual.

Priceless info at your finger tips. Kept them by the commode for months of interesting reading. < It's the only place people would leave me alone. LOL

At one point I had every GM manual form about 1972-1988. The dealership I was working at decided to go from 2 sets of manual down to one set. They told me to throw them away. I had them stored in may basement and then It flooded. I had to toss them all. Bummer.

I have the 3 GM shop manuals for my 96 and the assembly manual for my 67.
