Default Viper Alarm?

I have a viper alarm system on my Camaro, and it works (worked?) great... But recently, when I lock or unlock my car, I cant hear the beep or beeps. It used to be VERY loud, but now I can hardly hear it (and i mean it was LOUD, I could hear it lock or unlock from inside my house)... I haven't tested the alarm yet, and its not the kep fob-the battery is still good.

Anyone know what the problem could be? Is it not a big deal? Any thoughts or info would be great!

start at the speaker or whatever visible components you have, and start tracing the wires. should be solid wires run between the "brains" and the loud speaker, so only loose connections will be @ the brains or the speaker itself. also, maybe u accidentally changed a setting on it. look for a product manual online to see if there is a button on ur fob or a switch on the module u can flip

Viper alarms suck! Had one and I'll never buy them again!! If you're going to get an alarm then pay the money for a good one or see a dealer. Kill switches work the best. You rout the wiring anyplace and you can put one or more switch. Car thieves want to get in and get going they don't want to try to figure out how to start the damn car.
