my 94 v6 makes a ticking noise when stopped in gear, also bogs down and sounds as if it has a miss as well any ideas of what this could be. any help would be nice thanks

 

Ticking could be an exhaust leak, lifter or plug wire arching.

Is the SES light on? Have you had it scanned for codes?

Considering you say it bogs down and has a miss, I would raise the hood when it gets dark outside and see if you can see the plug wires arching.

 

I havent had it scanned. but i will check the wires and replace them along with the wires. and check for an exhaust leak. thanks for the advice.
