my car stutters wickid bad when i step on the gas past half ... today i put 250 dollars into it, replaceing coils, plugs, wires,fuel filter, and an oil change... i got excited cuz i went to drive it and it wasnt sputtering till 5 minutes later i went to take off and sputter away it went.... what else could be wrong with my poor 3.8L

 

fuel injector (s) need to be cleaned, or one may be clogged or bad

 

i've used fuel injector cleaner, how else would i clean it

 

you don't say if the car was running good before you did this, so I'll just assume it was (hate assuming). are you 100% sure you put your plug wires on right?

did you put your fuel filter on backwards?

 

it was running like **** before i did any of that, thats why i replaced all that stuff, to try and fix it, it only misfires when i step on the gas passed half ....=/

 

I had a problem similar to tat in my other camaro and I replaced the coil and it worked finr.

 

Nope, most of that cheap-o cleaner wont work, you can get the injectors cleaned at a shop

I bought my car w/ a bad fuel injector (why it was so cheap) and I just paid a shop like $250-300 to fix it...

You could DIY for cheaper

Also, if it's not just a bad or a couple bad fuel injectors, you can get them all cleaned at a shop, not sure of the rates for that service tho
