Default TRunk mount battery help?

I have a 68 camaro and would like to mount my battery in the trunk along with a disconnect switch. What's the best way to do so? Is there a wire diagram somewhere? FYI It's not a street car by any means and I'm using a 100 amp alt and will be using 1/0 welding cable where needed. Any help here on the correct way to wire a trunk mount battery? Thanks,Jesse......................

why not extend the + cable along the frame into the trunk, move the existing main ground to the rear of the car using a short 1 guage wire right to the frame. mounting shouldn't be a problem, just mount it somewhere in the trunk where there is room using a universal tray bolted down.

hope this helps

Look in Summit or Jegs, they have everything you will need.

I used A kit from jags for my 68. I mounted my battery next to my radio ant. had to put it in sideways.I couldn't use the battery box.it was to tall. I ran my pos. cable under the pass. side of my back seat then drilled a hole and ran it the rest of the way to the starter under the car on the inside of the subframe. I didn't like running it next to my gas line. the kit comes with everything you need .Jegs part number: 555-10260 at $ 66.99 thats in an older book from last fall.
