i have a 82 camaro with a 350 and its a saganaw tranny and the stupied thing keeps getting stuck in reverse and 1st gear like i can put it in reverse go back then take it out put it in neutral and it still goes back i can even put it in another gear and it kills the motor does my shifter need to be replaced or should i look at getting a new tranny?

 

Shifter.........Either adjustment or replace it.
