it looks like the butterflies are sticking on my 86 tpi. is there any way to fix this? i took out one screw from the butterfly, but it semi stripped and i left it in there. the throttle is sticking, and makes it run around 1600-2000 for idle. i thought it was the cable, but it isnt.

 

Go to your local salvage yard & pick up another one.

 

what do i have to look out for on matching the linkages and such, as well as connecting all the sensors and such?

 

Get one from the same year and model,and transmission type, transfer the TPSif it doesn't have one, and it should fit right in.
