Default Starting Problems

I just got a 1989 Camaro V8 5.0L with the 305 small block engine. It's the 5speed manual tranny on it. This is my very first car I've ever bought and I thought it was a great way to start out. When I first got it about 3 months ago, everything was working great on it other than a few minor things that were easy fixes.

The only problem that I've been having recently, and its a big problem, is my car doesn't like to start 50% of the time. One day it will start up great, no problems, then the next day, the engine will start up and immediately stop running. At first it only did this when I ran the car, turned it off, and tried to start it 15min-30min later. Now it does it whenever it feels like it. I can't get it to start after it does that. After several unsuccessful attempts to start it, I wont even be able to get the car to fire at all. I'll come back 2 hours later, and she'll start up fine like things ever happened.

Now I know my starter is going to hell for one, and I've already bought a new one and I'm going to replace it this weekend. However, something tells me that this isn't what is really causing my car to do this. Any ideas on what it may be? I was maybe thinking fuel pump, but everytime I turn the key, i can hear it working. I don't know if maybe its a fuel filter, distributor cap problem, or the fuel pump is sort of clogged. Any ideas would be great.

I forgot a few things you might need to know. It is throttle body injected and it's the RS version.

Modules when they go bad its is usualy bad 100% of the time. If you have not done it yet change your fuel filter. When it does not start have some one look at the injectors while you turn it over. Be carful while doing it though. See if they are spraying. Dont push on the pedal though.
