Default serious problem..

Okay.. I know that my car has been doing this for a while, but not this bad!

Whenever you accelerate heavily or brake heavily the car swirves really bad (mainly when braking)
It is 100% correctable with the steering wheel.. I thought maybe it was brakes, but if it was brakes, wouldn't it only do it while breaking instead of during acceleration as well?
I know the owner before me ALWAYS changed the oil on his own.. but maybe never greased all the grease ports for the tie rods and such....
Now I'm thinking tie rod's? If that's what it is.. Holy crap they are really bad! I have it PARKED right now because of how bad it got over the weekend..
The front brakes are getting totally replaced anyway, feels like I have to push on the pedal WAY too hard for it to stop.. So I'm replacing the rotors, calipers, pads, and lines that look rusty, and maybe even the booster..

Any advice\tips that I can get from you guys is EXTREMELY appreciated....

Check your suspension. Front and rear. Maybe there is something coming loose or breaking apart. (control arms, pan hard rod, bushings, ect..)

if ti is your tierods you can easily see if they were bad. how about something as simple as an alignment. if you really don't know what to look for, I suggest going and getting your frontend checked at an alignment shop. they usually will do that for free. after they look at it, tell them thank you but you don't have the money right now, then go fix it yourself

I've got a friend with a shop that has a lift. I have a appointment next month 8 hours of lift time (fo free baby! hahaha). I'm going to replace tie rods, the front brake rotors, calipers, pads, trying to find places to mount side underglow's with out the bulb being visible, rear brake shoes, and general maint.

Remember to also look closely at the tires. Possibly have a belt breaking loose. As the others mentioned, check the suspension over and look for broke parts
