Yeah I got Competition Engineering sub frame connectors. Once the foam is hardened it is very very resistant to fire. Lol we're a little bit of Pyros hahahaha.

Did you buy the solid body mounts CE makes and recommends? I bought them but could not get them to work, ended up going with poly bushings.

That was a good move because the CE ones were useless. What is your engine and trans setup?

Right now I'm building up a 383 aiming for 510 HP with 490 FT/LBS. Iron Eagle Rotating assembly (balanced) -8CC Dished w/vavle releifs floating pistons, Eagle H beam rods, 49CC 230 CFM Dart heads 2.02" intake valves, haven't decided a cam yet, Roller rockers 1.6 ratio, Chrom Moly push rods, NGK Iridium spark plugs, MSD wires, MSD HEI distributor, Holly black fuel pump, still looking for a pressure regulator, 850 CFM carb, Edlebrock Dual Plane performer RPM intake. I'm rebuilding the Turbo 350 with TCI Master race rebuild kit, having the transpump reworked, B&M Shiftkit, hardened steel input shaft, with a 3800 RPM stall speed coverter. Rear axle is a limited slip 2.73:1 ratio right now, I'm going to swap it out to a 3.73:1 so I can still drive it on the freeway.

I have the rotating assembly balanced and assembled, flexplate and harmonic balancer lol I got the intake and the valve covers and some of the valve train... I'm still saving up for the heads. Frickin $1200 for the set and then tack on shipping lol.

I assume you are looking at the pro 1 s I would suggest taking another look at the runner size before you buy them those are large runners especially for a street motor talk to dart and see what they say they are in Mich, I was there about a month ago to go over some pushrod clearance issues on a set of 230 s. When you talk to dart tell them what manifold you have and ask them if is suitable for the 230 cc head. I think Dart is in the process of updating the port design of the pro 1s so waiting a little while may be an advantage. Also as far as cam selection the flat tappet cams have alot of breakin issues to deal with today for whatever reason to do it again I would have gone to a roller cam.

Thanks for the heads up. I was checking the compression ratio too and it'd be up to a 14.3:1 ratio. I was wondering what's the highest ratio compression I can go with Turbo Blue 104 Octane.

That is race engine compression a friend of mine runs that compression and runs 110 torco, and we had engines that ran on 104 that were 12.5 where the cutoff is I am not sure it depends on your cam and other factors. Ill have to defer to someone else on this one. That is alot of compression for a street engine. Did you 0 deck the block to get that compression?
