problem when started
when i start my car in the morning it puts out a little smoke its (dark in color) it is there for half a second then it gone and never does it again, oil pressure is fine it dosent burn any off the level is the same when i filled it up. for some reason it does it when its been sittin for more then 10 or so hours....i go to class for five hours and it does not do it when i get out just in the morning..

Bad valve stem seals. When the seals are in good condition and working properly, they prevent oil that's coated on the valve stems (under the valve covers) from running down. Worn, sloppy, hard, or cracked seals will let oil run down the valve stem and into the cylinder. You'll get more oil running down the longer the engine sits. Then you get your puff of blue smoke when you first start the car. If you're not experiencing any other engine problems, and no accumulated oil loss, then what you have is just a small nuisance....for now.
