Default overheating! Again...

I know we've covered this a thousand times! Overheating! I don't care for the f-body cooling set up. Not sure if pulling hot air passing below it the best way to draw air in to cool your radiator. Not to mention that you need this plastic piece below (air dam) to help direct air into your radiator. Now if anyone has looked up into the radiator from below you'll see the small area that the air dam has to draw air up in to. Would taking off the plastic piece inside that area allowing the air to come from the front of the car through the fog lights work better? Your thoughts. Fact or just opinion.

The 3rd and 4th gen are the same right? Air dam on the bottom to scoop the air up? I was talking about 4gen but you reminded me about the 3gen being the same design.
