Oil
Just went to the parts store to pick up a case of VR1 oil. They bring out a case of 6 quarts!! Whats up with this? since when dose a case only have 6 quarts. #$%&@ What happened to 12 quart cases? (I remember 24 quart cases). This sucks!!! What a waste of cardboard! Ok, I'm done venting now.

It depends on the brand and type of oil. Most high mileage and synthetics come in a 6 pack. Reasoning behind it is most vehicles only take between 4 and 5 quarts of oil. You can still get some conventional in cases of 12 and 24.

I think it is to avoid sticker shock of $72 case of oil. $36 case of oil is a lot easier on the wallet. LOL I used to buy oil by the 12 quart case but now my cars don’t use oil like the old days. I keep a quart or two just in case and I buy when I need to change the oil.
I normally buy the Autozone deal and I get 5 qts of mobile one and a mobile one filter for like $30.00. Its a better deal then when I see the cases on sale.
