obd II reset
the same thing happened to me on my truck, what you have to do with obd2 is unplug the battery for 15 min and that will reset it, its not like earlier codes where it will just clear, obd2 you have to reset it, otherwise the light will just remain on no matter what
OBDII the light will go out as soon as the computer recognizes the problem fixed. It may take a drive cycle for it to run through its tests.
Basicly a drive cycle is engine warmed up, part throttle to 35 and hold steady for about 3 minutes or so the coast down to 20 then 3/4 throttle to 50 and hold for about 3 minutes the coast down to 20.
Some times this is all hard to do if there are no open country roads. But sometimes after a repair a drive cycle needs to be done to clear monitors or it will show up on a smog machine and fail a test.
