Default MSD Ignition Selection

I would like select a MSD ignition for my 2001 Camaro Z28. I have no idea which ignition to choose. I also have no idea how much improvement I can expect after I install a new ignition. Does anyone have any advice and experience they would like to share??? I would appreciate your help.

Go MSD, You wont notice any performance gains...it might start easier, or if your current ignition is old, you might notice it...

however, it's a good supporting mod

I saw an add for some new, I think, coils for the LSs'. But I think they are around seven bills for it. (thats what you get for having 8 coil packs)
With the older ignitions the coils were only really an improvment at higher rpms'. There may be room for improvment with the ls ignition but I think it is already good enough.

[X(] GM has built rather good ignition systems and would probably leave it alone. im not sure what all msd offers for the newer engines possibly just coils. i would certainly be able to find better places to spend my money on the car kurt
