Ok I have figured out what wire goes were on the distributor cap. I have replaced the plugs, they were ok some more nastier than others. started rt up no problem, BUT still misfires. not as bad as last time but still pretty crappy. the only other thing I could check is the injectors. possibly some of the bad gas pluged them up. so whats step 10 guys.

TRy a double dose of injector cleaner in the fuel tank first.

Ok tryed the injector cleaner and that was a no go so I took out the spark plugs (new ones) and they were black with just 2 starts on it and smelled like gas very badly. My guess is t hat its running extremly rich considering the smell of gas commin from the plugs and engine. So if i am rt what would cause it to run ritch. I am also in the process of changing the fuel injectors. SO Please help before i smash this thing. LOL

Ok what do you think it is now. I changed the injectors changed the TPS changed the IAC. still no power idles fine put it in drive to go and it sputters pops and goes nowhere. if i give it a tiny bit of gas to go it will go but if I mash it to the floor it sputters and pops. Now my car has no exaust has a cat but the exaust got cut off by the prevuos owner. service engine light is now on also it puts out this code.
43. Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit
What you think guys I am totally lost now. this is out of my knowledge

That code is for the Knock Sensor module (ESC Electronic Spark Control). Usually due to a bad connection, open or short circuit, defective ESC module, defective Knock Sensor, Defective ECM.The module lives near the brake booster, the knock sensor is mounted on the side of the block

Well if you do have the firing order wrong on the cap? that would make it sluggish, but the ck engine light would usually come on! (light burned out) The computer would sense the timing problem and go into a protect mode! or LIMP HOME MODE it advances the timing and dumps all the fuel it can to keep it running. the firing order on a 6cyl is 1,5,3,6,2,4 and 8 cyl 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 recheck your wires then drop the pos lead off the battery, to reset the computer, and try again! also shame on you for not changing that fuel filter! and flush that rad, run some degergent oil thru her for a 100 miles or so, and then dump the oil and change, with a new filter. Good luck and kep us posted.

ok wierd sevice engine light is on changed the map sensor it goes off but still no power when i give it gas idles fine reves up fine from park but its not giving me anything. ? Is it common for these year camaro's to run like crap when the O2 sensor is bad many people are saying that an O2 sensor makes cars run like **** if there bad. I have changed every possible thing on this car. Cap rotor plugs wires IAC TPS Ignition modual MAP fuel filter. What is the deal with this thing. and I know its probably something real stupid im missing. Also could a bad cat make it run ****ty HElp guys please I'm about to dump this thing off a cliff

Unbolt the cat & see if car runs better.
