Default Miles

I am looking at getting a 95 Z28 Camaro LT1 it has 167,000 miles on it but two summers ago the guy who owns it now put an engine rebuild kit on it. My question is , is this Camaro going to last me and be reliable ?

That is about 12,000+ miles per/yr which is average. But the big question is were those hard miles??? How dose this guy drive??
If you think they were average miles go for it if everything else is good (body&interior).

theres a difference between getting an engine rebuilt and putting a rebuild kit on it.a rebuild kit means you just got new internals, and the block wasnt redone.and the scary part about engine rebuilds is if the person didnt know what they were doing you will have trouble down the road.

no this guy without a doubt knew what he was doing I just want to make sure that this Camaro is going to last if it has 167,000 miles and he put a rebuild kit on it

There are plenty of Camaros that have lasted longer than that without a rebuild. If the guy did it right, and he treated the car well it should last you. Be careful, there's lots of "ifs" in that statement.
