looking to buy a 4th generation camaro years ranging from 1998-99.... I know you want to buy a car with the lowest miles possible. but what is a decent amount of miles for these two years??? Whats the average amount of miles that a LS1 can last???

 

i got 32,xxx on my 98 22,xxx at x-mas when i got it...

 

there still alive past 100K

 

I saw one today that had 147k on it and it ran like new. It all depends on how well it was maintained.

 

On average, a car in the USA is driven 12k miles a year, you do the math. However with performance vehicles and 4x4s, the mileage might be low, but it could have been used hard. Make a through inspection before you buy, and see if everything more or less looks like it should (wear and tear) for the mileage indicated in the odo.
