Default LS1 Coolant "Hot" Light Temperature

I read in the sticky "Cooling system diagnostic/info" that the coolant "hot" light indicates at 250 - 258 degrees. Is this for all V8's LT / LS?

I am doing a LS1 conversion into a Porsche 944 and want to use the stock analog gauge and warning light in the dash. Just need to find the right sender temp.

Thanks for your help.

Ted
