Default looking for a new cam advise please

my car does not have the right sound. I want more of a camed sound. what would you guys suggest? This is a DD with a 5 speed and i want to make a little more power.

see below for engine specs.

Block
350
Bored .040 over
Stock crank and rods
Stock style dished pistons

a little porting done to them.

What's your compression ratio? and you are talking about the car in your sig description right? If your over 9:1 comp. then this should sound pretty good..... 08-601-8 - Thumpr

I would suggest buying 1.6 rocker arms and get the cam and lifter kit. should be around 450 bucks then add whatever you spend on rocker arms. Jegs has some steel rollers for around 100 bucks a set.

I hadn't realized that i didn't update my sig. I listed out the current specs up above though. Its a 350.

I need to verify my compression but i already have flat Hyd lifters. I was thinking the 12-600-4 - thumpr. and possibly switching to 1.6 rockers
