It's so hard to find....
LT1 manual Camaro's in the 4-5k range(4500 is probly all I will have by the end of june)....I have looked across 4 differnt states including mine on criegs list and have only found a hand full...this is really frustrating... If I cant find one I might end up buying a 5.0[sm=insomnia.gif]
This is my wish list if anyones wondering: [ul][*]z28 LT1 Camaro[*]manual transmission[*]Red or black(even other colors at this point)[*]<160k miles[*]t-tops[*]no major cosmetic issues[*]engine hasnt been ridden to the ground(no major engine issues) [/ul]You would think that with gas @ 4 dollars a gallon I could find one- I'm just a 17 year old kid who has been saving up for one since febuary so I'm getting kind of frustrated...

RE: It's so hard to find....
have you been scanning every used lot in ur city? craigslist is neat and all.... but alot of used dealers turn over so fast the cars dont hit the net. i, over the course of the last few months, have seen several lt1s in your range at dealerships

RE: It's so hard to find....
Admitedly, all my searching has been internet based- mostly because I rather not buy it from a dealership if I dont have to...but it seems I might have to go that route- I just want to get lucky and get a car that grandma has driven....or like only had 2 owners....which is still possible at a dealership....
Guess I need to start looking around town...

RE: It's so hard to find....
When I was looking for a car I checked www.cars.com www.autotrader.com etc. every day. Keep your eye out, don't throw one out just because it's coming from a dealer. You'll find a good car for a good price eventually, but when you find it you'll need to act on it, because the good ones disappear quick.

Thanks 95slvrz28,
today I went to 3 of my towns local used car dealerships, not a single f-body to be found... I also checked on cars.com which I havent looked at in a while- lol saw a red manual lt1 z28 for 5k, good deal right? lol 190k miles....you have got to be kidding me...
Any one have a carfax subscription? 2G1FP22P1V2129617 - wait this guy too 2G1FP22PXT2104678
My girlfriends parents are good friends with a car dealer- I'm thinking I can maybe get him to go to an auction for me or something...
Edit: that car might have 190k miles but **** the engine looks clean
